Why Cancun for your Grad Daze Trip?

Beaches
Cancun boasts quite possibly the world’s best beach, and we’re not kidding. But don’t take our word for it…The Travel Channel continually ranks the beach there as the world’s best swimming beach. The water is clear to 80 ft. +, just a like a natural swimming pool
Graduation Student Travelers
In Cancun, you’ll be going to the #1 senior trip destination in May & June for high school students nationwide. You’ll meet & mingle with literally hundreds of other just-graduated students.
Weather
When you go to Cancun, you’ll be heading to the tropical Caribbean and high 80’s every single day. The water is a temperate 85 degrees as well, year-round. Bring your sun screen & get ready to get the best tan of your life
Excursions & things to do
Cancun offers our students more to do than any other destination. You can swim with dolphins or help train sea lions, jet ski, parasail, take a jungle tour, snorkel or learn to scuba. Not to mention horseback riding, incredible shopping, a day trip to incredible Mayan ruins in nearby Tulum, or a lazy day on the beach in Isla Mujeres. Did we mention the beach? Cancun’s nightlife, restaurants, and shows all add up to a wonderful vacation experience for students
Quality of Hotels
Cancun’s hotel zone features hotels that are simply the nicest in the Country. Over 5 million people travel there each year, so they are prepared for tourists, & all of our properties are student-friendly with English Speaking staff on duty at all times.
Nightlife
Cancun’s world-class night clubs are known throughout the world as featuring some of the most spectacular live shows, laser entertainment, and beach front action. It comes as no surprise that MTV conducts live broadcasts there for a reason. Celebrity drop bys by Paris Hilton, Jamie Kennedy, Akon, Three 6 Mafia, Nick Cannon, & more are to be expected at this world-class destination.
Shopping
Cancun has without question the best shopping of any Caribbean beach destination. Its four shopping centers offer stores such as Diesel, the Gap, and Quiksilver. Additional shopping at the downtown flea market display Mexican handicrafts that make great gifts & souvenirs, and allow to test your Spanish haggling skills.
Great Dining
You’ll need not worry about getting sick in Cancun, with great American restaurants like Rain Forest Café, Hard Rock, Planet Hollywood, Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritiaville, and some classic local Mexican favorites like Senor Frogs & Fat Tuesday. Fine dining? Hit up Cambalche Brazillian Steak House, Ruth Chris, La Madonna & more for some of the best Steak & Seafood in the world.
Student-Friendly Tourist Destination
Cancun is ready for our Grads. For over 30 years, students have been heading south of the border to crash this Mexican style fiesta. Their clubs, restaurants, hotels, and shopping centers cater to students, and can’t wait for their arrival. This friendly environment is why Cancun remains so popular
English Spoken Here
Don’t believe you need to be able to speak Spanish to visit Cancun, or almost anywhere in Mexico for that matter. Tourism is their main industry, and the 1 million English-speaking natives have made English their second language. In Mexico, learning English starts in grade school. They speak English. Unlike certain European countries, the warm, Mexican culture embraces those who are courteous enough to attempt to speak Spanish. So, dust off your Spanish in Cancun, they’ll smile & help!
Tulum & the Mayan Ruins
While we mentioned Tulum as a thing to do, you are simply crazy if you don’t take this optional side trip 1.5 hours south of Cancun. You’ll view amazing authentic, centuries old ruins first hand. This alone is a great reason to go to Cancun for your senior trip. Tulum boasts in our opinion the most beautiful beach in North America.

Why South Padre Island for your Grad Daze Trip?

It’s in the United States
As the only graduation trip provider that offers a US destination as our specialty, we understand that our international trips aren’t suited for all of our students (or their parents) desires. South Padre Island is in Texas, and is further south than Miami Beach. Going to a grad destination in the US still means fun, but it also means your cell phone and health insurance will work. Some students can’t go to Mexico…Padre is still a great last hoorah with your class for a senior class trip as an alternative.
Beaches
South Padre Island was ranked as one of the ten best beaches in the US last year. The wide, deep soft sand beaches & gradual shoreline offer our grads a fun, safe beach experience, and it’s a great reason people go there. The surfing is also very good.
Value & Low Cost
In South Padre Island, you can road trip it down with your friends, or we can arrange for luxury motorcoach transportation or air-inclusive trips. For $300-$500, you’ll get a great trip with meals included, and a fun optional activity package.
Weather
When you go to South Padre Island, you’ll be heading to the Texas-version of the tropics. Since you can expect weather in the mid-90’s it’s a sun worshippers paradise. Padre offers the warmest temperatures of any destination we offer in May & June.
Enormous, luxury condos
We have to straight up tell you, our luxury units at the Saida Complex offer condos with full kitchens, living rooms, and separate bedroom areas. No other destination we offer has accommodations this large or luxurious. These condos hold up to 8 people, which means you can bring everyone on this trip, or the next-door La Copa as a lower cost alternative.
A two-nation vacation
South Padre Island is located just 30 miles from the Mexican border. With our shopping excursion, you’ll get to experience Mexico in a great way picking up some fun souvenirs & handicrafts in a fully staffed, controlled, & safe environment.
Great Dining
South Padre Island is in the United States. That means, the food is like what you’d eat right down the street. Padre has what almost every other city in the US has – good home cooked-comfort food. The shrimping capital of the United States, we highly recommend tasting these fresh caught Gulf Shrimp.
