Our Story
Inertia Tours offers student travel packages that make planning a trip simplistic and inclusive. Chad Hart started our Company in 2002 and serves as active President. Having worked as a Campus Rep in college at the University of Wisconsin for College Tours and later Mazatlan Express. After college, Chad worked for USA Student Travel the Student Express before beginning Inertia Tours at a small office incubation center with his best friend Rich Saunders and current Operations Director Ryan Tervo.
Inertia is proudly based in Austin, Texas with a seasonal office in South Padre Island, Texas.
Inertia is widely acknowledged as the “Padre People” in the Spring Break Travel Industry. Inertia Tours is the only Spring Break Tour Company that has been Officially Sponsored by a City to promote spring break travel – South Padre Island.
We feature international trips to Cancun, Cabo San Lucas, Negril Jamaica as well as other domestic destinations like Panama City Beach & Colorado college ski trips.
Inertia has been featured 3 separate times on the Travel Channel, as well as being courted by Corporate Sponsors like Red Bull, Budweiser, Monster, Electric Wines, Twang, Four Loko, Jack Link, ++ many many more.
Inertia also operates the most heavily visited & shared Social Media platforms in the student travel business, with over 5 million views on www.youtube.com/inertiatours channel to nearly 60,000 followers @chadwilliamhart Instagram
